International Pattaya Beach Football – December

Annual Beach Football in Jomtien

The popular International Beach Football kicks off in Jomtien during the month of December each year and is traditionally opened by the Mayor of Pattaya. It’s a free to watch event midway down Jomtien beach and there is limited seating but plenty of standing space to watch the football matches.

The teams are made up of local expats along with the Thais and so still expect it to be competitive but also lots of fun for the players too.

What to Expect

The tournament runs for 7 days and there are usually 12 teams competing from Thailand, Norway, England to Cameroon. Inspire gets involved each year and usually sponsors Ireland or Cameroon. The matches kick off late afternoon so as to escape the heat.

So if you like your football, be sure to head down to Jomtien beach and enjoy the football atmosphere and some great football on display.
