I have spent 7 weeks now on Koh Chang and to be honest with you it has completely removed me away from this tragic pandemic. Yes, we need to wear masks and get our temperature checks when we are out and about, but it’s no real problem.
Being ‘isolated’ on such a majestic island like Koh Chang has been wonderful and part of me will be sad to see this new lifestyle come to an end, which it will. During this time I have learned so much about how I approach life, what is important and also what is possible in life.
We do indeed live a short life and these curious and tragic times must be used as a time of reflection to emerge happier and stronger from the experience.
These last 7 weeks spent in relative isolation on Koh Chang have been incredibly powerful weeks for me in terms of learning about life and what is important.
