PATTAYA, THAILAND – Chaîne des Rôtisseurs member restaurant Indian by Nature, is inviting guests to enjoy an evening of mouth-watering meals and tantalising tipples on April 5th and 6th to celebrate 9 proud years as Pattaya’s most respected and distinguished Indian restaurant.

The evening’s chic and sophisticated menu has been specially created to celebrate Indian by Nature’s unique dining style – traditional Indian home cooking ingredients fused with modern fine dining and gourmet techniques.

“We are very proud to still be going strong after 9 years, but we couldn’t have reached this tremendous milestone if it wasn’t for all our loyal customers. We wanted to say ‘thank you’ to our patrons which is why we are inviting guests to indulge in what might just be our finest set menu yet,’ said Av Khanijou, restaurant founder and Head Chef.

Refined, creative and innovative, the three course set menu features an alluring array of enticing Indian dishes for guests to choose from to showcase the very best that modern Indian cuisine has to offer, encompassing a myriad of cooking methods and varying levels of spiciness to titillate the taste buds of any discerning diner, Thai, Western and Indian alike.

In addition, Indian by Nature has carefully selected a variety of gins from around the world specifically sourced from Belgium, Germany Scotland and England to complement and offset the diverse flavours and spices of the dishes.

Dishes on offer will include Salt and Pepper Prawns marinated in onions before being fried and dressed with a tangy sweet and sour dressing, a Tangri Kebab consisting of chicken drumsticks stuffed with minced chicken, prawns, cashews and almonds before being grilled in a traditional tandoor, and the restaurant’s star newcomer, a beautifully balanced Kerala Fish Curry, as well as decadent desserts which blend East and West, like blueberry kulfi and coconut crème brûlée.

“Modern Indian cuisine isn’t just about curry, it’s about the successful blending of the distinctive characteristics of traditional Indian food with the unique elements of the cooking traditions of other cultures, and that is exactly the ethos we pursue at Indian by Nature,” explains Khun Av.

Mrs Khanijou has firmly established herself as an integral part of Pattaya’s culinary community over the past decade or so, holding cookery classes for aspiring local chefs as part of the Pattaya International Ladies Club before launching Indian by Nature in 2004.

Since then the restaurant has tallied up a multitude of achievements, most notably being inducted into the prestigious Chaîne des Rôtisseurs in 2005 and the successful launch and publication of Confluence: the Indian by Nature Cookbook in December 2010. Most recently in May 2012, International Rotary Club members from around the world congregated in Bangkok whereby a group of delegates chose Indian by Nature to host a gala luncheon for prolific Rotarians due to the restaurant’s sterling reputation and close proximity to Bangkok.
