‘The One Acts’ Show from Pattaya Players March 1-2

The Pattaya Players are proud to announce that tickets for their first 2013 production, “The One Acts” at Indian By Nature Restaurant are now on sale! Ticket prices are 1,000 Baht and include an all you can eat gourmet Indian buffet. There will be only two evenings of performances on March 1st and March 2nd, 2013 (dinner buffet opens at 6:30 PM and show begins at 7:30 PM) – so advanced ticket purchasing is necessary.

An online ticketing center has been set up at and tickets for both performances can be purchased with a major credit card or Paypal account. Tickets will also be available for purchase in person (cash only) through all Board and Cast Members and at Indian By Nature Restaurant.

The following three one act plays will be performed on the evening…

· “A Jolly Sinister Jape” – Directed By Wendy Khan
Synopsis: Lord Stubbs, Biffy Trubshaw and his actress wife Ophelia are stranded by a collapsed bridge in a mysterious house in a thunderstorm. As romance blossoms, someone locks the front door, trapping the three unfortunates. Who else is in the house?

· “Prince Charming’s Complaint” – Directed By Doug Heron
Synopsis: In this delightful and funny monologue, the legendary Prince Charming takes center stage to talk about the expectations, pressures and disappointments that come with being every woman’s “dream come true.” Along the way the Prince talks about his ex-wives Rapunzel and Snow White and that beautiful girl he met at the ball who disappeared at the stroke of midnight.

· “Oprah Made Me Do It!” – Directed By Christopher T. Parsons
Synopsis: Two women at a bookstore fight to the death over the last copy of Oprah Winfrey’s latest bestseller. Caught in the middle of their feud is a lowly cashier, trying desperately to please both women without becoming their target. However, the more he works his customer service magic, the closer the bull’s-eye gets to his forehead.
